On the 16th of April 2010,  a young team namely Sadequa Hassan, Aatur Rahman Shoaib, lead by renowed Architect Nurur Rahman Khan and Sharifun Hassan of FSB(Future Solution for BusinesslLtd officially launched Amar Desh Amar Gram ‘s Digital Mongla the first upazilla in Bangladesh .It  was inaugurated by Arch. Yeafes   Osman, Honarable Minister of ICT,Government of People’s Republic of  Bangladesh.

Digital Mongla is an initiative, whereby establishing an ICT based network connecting rural life with city life and vice versa. Amar Desh Amar Gram platforms nine pillars which not only covers ecommerce through e-shop, but also covers aspects such as culture, tourism, press, government services, education, entertainment hubs, etc bringing aspects of city lifestyles to the rural people which they never dreamed off. The platform has been developed and is currently managed by Future Solutions of Business, and the online transaction support is given by BracBank.

The digital mongla is done by the e-center’s local employees (a school headmaster and selected residents of Mithakhali) at the e-center took only weeks to learn how to run the e-center.  Updating database, cataloging products, etc everything is done without the supervision of any technical personnel. Their eagerness do to more has opted them to learn quicker than many who thought it was implausible if not impossible.
